Boat Docks

IPE and Angelim Pedra/Angle Heart both make wonderful choices for boat docks or any over water application. Wood in general is a good product to use when over water because most of these applications are in full sun and will be walked on with bare feet, with wood decking you will find a much softer and cooler feel as the wood doesn't heat up as much as other products like concrete or composite decking. Also with IPE and Angelim Pedra/Angle Heart that is coated with Wood Protect the wood temperature will be lower than any other wood coating as Wood Protect has an additive to reflect UV rays and the end result is a measurable difference in surface temperature. Exotic decking is the clear choice for over water applications.
